First Meeting of LBCWG Draws 50+ Attendees

More than 50 staffers, think-tankers, and academics attended the inaugural meeting of the Legislative Branch Capacity Working Group. Reps. Dave Brat (R-Va) and John Sarbanes (D-Md) addressed the group.

The LBCWG is a bottom-up research and reform enterprise. To these ends, attendees were broken into groups to discuss and debate aspects of congressional capacity, and asked to share their points of agreement and disagreement with the room. These comments and the results of the online survey will be compiled and shared on LegBranch.com in the near future.
